LSU and USC remain #1 and #2, respectively with their wins against MTSU and Nebraska, while Boston College, Cincinnati, Oregon, Florida, and Ohio State all make appearances in the Top 10 with their victories on the day. Kentucky moves up to #13 with their upset victory over Louisville, and Alabama moves up to #16 by holding off a late push by Arkansas to win in Tuscaloosa. Rounding out the big moves into the Top 25 is Air Force, who moves up 35 places with their 20-17 upset of TCU. Notable moves outside of the Top25 are a pair of MSU's, with both Michigan State and Mississippi State moving up significantly with today's wins. Utah rockets up 36 places following their thrashing of UCLA. Finally, the Dookies almost get into double-digit ratings by moving to #100 following their win over Northwestern, their first return the W column in 23 tries. Falling off the cliff this week are UCLA, Auburn, BYU, Arizona, Iowa, and Northwestern following each's upset losses, however none come close to the utter self-implosion underway at Notre Dame. What a sad state of affairs in South Bend. Also dropping due to wins over weak opponents are Rutgers, South Carolina, and Miami (FL), although it'll be a while before the Canes are ranked high enough to be newsworthy again.
