Game of the week: NY Giants vs. New England Patriots. As if there were any doubt. This one's for the history books. And, lest we gift wrap a late Christmas present for the Pats, don't count out the Giants, who would love to play the spoiler here, and oh, by the way -- you all do recall that whole New York vs. Boston rivalry thing, yes? This should be a classic. Also worth watching: Sprinkled inbetween the bowl games are the following NFL week 17 gems -- Indy vs. Tennessee and Washington vs. Dallas, both for the 6th spot in the AFC playoffs. Philly vs. Buffalo is the battle of the best of the rest. Please Note!!!! -- This is week 17 in the NFL, which is also the week that many playoff-bound teams rest their players. As such, the spreads are heavily skewed this week as Vegas has taken into account the likely scratching of many healthy players, whereas my system doesn't know a quarterback from baby back ribs.
