It's finally bowl season for college football, and kudos to the BCS committee for getting it right. That being said, this season provides ample evidence for the need for a playoff, as any of the top 8 teams are legitimate contenders this season. The game of the Bowl week is obvious -- the BCS Title game between Florida and Oklahoma. This is going to be one heck of a game between these two offensive juggernauts. The question is -- can Oklahoma find some defense during their prep time this month? Florida already has a good defense, and it showed vs. Alabama. For what it's worth, I'm off to see my first bowl game ever up in Toronto at the International Bowl between Buffalo and Connecticut. I'm still in disbelief and glee over the Bulls victory against previously unbeaten Ball State, and this bowl game -- their first ever as a program -- is well deserved. As for the game, despite UB's history, I expect a very close game between these two programs. We'll see! Cheers, happy holidays, and enjoy the bowl games!
